My political science teacher, Mr. Vargish, looks exactly like somebody. I can't put my finger on it. Gosh, if only I could remember.

Johann Bode
Start off with these numbers
0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192, 384
Now, add 4 to each
4, 7, 10, 16, 28, 52, 100, 196, 388
Now, divide by 10
Mercury - .4
Venus - .7
Earth - 1.0
Asteroid Belt - 1.6
Mars - 2.8
Jupiter - 5.2
Saturn - 10.0
Uranus - 19.6
Neptune - 38.8
In 1764, when no means of precise measuring were available, Johann Bode discovered that arranging numbers in the manner done so above produces a ratio of the distances from each planet to the Sun. Further, when he published the idea, the asteroid belt had not been discovered. As we all know, however, the Asteroid Belt exists, today, and fits into the ratio system perfectly.
Later, the exact distance from the Sun to the Earth was found to be 1.5 e(11) meters. The distances from each planet to the Sun were also found. Indeed, the ratio system and the actual values lined up exactly. The only exception is Uranus' value. However, after considering the relatively small margin of error that occurs for Uranus and how well the rest of the system works, Bode's law still is held accountable and true.

Forced Against My Will
I was violated at the picnic. I told Emily to stop touching my butt, but, because she is so selfish, she kept doing it.
